BORS 2023 Abstract Submission Deadline Extension

In response to numerous requests the organisers of BORS 2023, to be held in Cambridge on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th September, have agreed to extend the abstract submission deadline by one month to midnight on Monday 5th June 2023. Expression of Interest for BORS Secretary 2024-2027 and BORS Treasurer 2024-2027

BORS would like to receive expressions of interest from members wanting to apply to the BORS Secretary and BORS Treasurer positions on the Executive. The positions are for 3 years and will be preceded by a year as the Secretary Elect and Treasurer Elect shadowing the current office holders. To apply, please submit a 1 page CV and a 1 page statement outlining what you will bring to the role. Please also include details of a proposer and a seconder in the statement; both should be BORS members. Please submit your expression of interest to contact@borsoc.org.uk by 31 July 2023. Voting for the positions will take place at the BORS AGM, to be held during BORS 2023, on Tuesday 26th September 2023.

BORS would like to hear from members who would like to serve as Trustees from 2023 for a 3 year term. Please contact the BORS Trustees Chair, Deborah Mason on masondj@cardiff.ac.uk. Two of the current Trustees, Arash Angadji (Charities Representative) and Rosemary Fletcher (Lay Representative) will be standing for re-election as Trustees at the BORS AGM on Tuesday 26th September 2023.
