British Orthopaedic Research Society

The British Orthopaedic Research Society (BORS) is a multidisciplinary association devoted to facilitating collaboration in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal research.

BORS-BJR Travelling Fellowship 2027

The Travelling Fellowship supports early-career researchers and clinicians to engage with world leading orthopaedic research communities, develop international collaborations, and represent British orthopaedic research within the wider musculoskeletal research community.

The next fellowship cycle will align with European Orthopaedic Research Society Congress 2027 and will provide selected fellows with the opportunity to attend and contribute to one of Europe’s leading orthopaedic research meetings.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Be a current BORS member in good standing
  • Have held BORS membership for a minimum of two years
  • Have previously presented at a BORS Annual Meeting
  • Be engaged in orthopaedic or musculoskeletal research
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in collaborative and translational research
